Kaja Fruit Infusions is a distributor of fruit juices and
fresh fruit pulps from the Amazon region of Brazil. Our name, “Kaja,” is derived
from one of the most popular fruits we import, called “Caja”.
Located in New England, Kaja is over 6,000 miles from the
tropical Amazon Rainforest in Brazil where these fruit trees grow in abundance.
We first became acquainted with Acaí, a palm berry that is rich in vitamins and
nutrients, when a friend of ours from the Brazilian community in Providence, Rhode
Island suggested we give it a taste. We became a distributor, shortly after the
initial tasting. Today, Kaja distributes over 40 fruit varieties of Brazilian products
throughout the country.
We distribute fresh frozen fruit pulps and juices through
variety of marketing channels including grocery and convenience stores, bakeries,
ice cream manufacturers, restaurants, and smoothie bars. These fruit pulps make
popular drinks, and are frequently used in recipes to create great tasting mousses,
cakes, pies, sauces, ice cream, and mixed drinks.
Our mission is to introduce and provide to the general
public fruit juice and fresh frozen pulp products as a great tasting, healthy alternative
while providing the South American communities within the United States the fruit
products they know and enjoy.
